Overview

ProgressCam ("the App") is developed and operated by Kerem Uslular ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what data we collect, why, how it is stored, and your rights regarding that data. We are committed to transparency and minimal data collection.

1. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly enable cloud backup:

• Photos and images you take or import into ProgressCam
• Project data — project names, categories, capture dates, and photo metadata
• Landmark detection data — facial and body alignment computed entirely on-device
• App preferences, settings, and notification schedules

All photo processing and landmark detection happens on your device using on-device machine learning. No biometric data is ever transmitted externally.

2. Cloud Backup (Optional)

If you sign in and your projects are backed up to the cloud:

• Your photos and project data are encrypted in transit and at rest
• Cloud-stored data is associated with your account and accessible only to you
• You can disable cloud backup and delete all cloud-stored data at any time from the app settings
• Cloud storage limits apply based on your plan (free or Pro)

3. Authentication

ProgressCam supports Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google via Firebase Authentication. We receive only a unique user identifier and, optionally, a display name and email. We do not have access to your Apple ID or Google account password. Sign-in is optional — all core features work without an account.

4. Analytics & Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google) to understand aggregate usage patterns and diagnose crashes. This data is:

• Anonymized and aggregated — not linked to your identity
• Used solely to improve app quality and stability
• Subject to Google's Privacy Policy

5. Purchases & Payments

ProgressCam Pro is available as a lifetime in-app purchase managed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information. All billing is handled by Apple. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID to manage entitlements — subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data with analytics providers solely to improve the app. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Photos and project data stored on your device remain under your control. You can delete any project or photo at any time. If you use cloud backup, you can delete your cloud data from the app settings or by contacting us.

Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 24 months and then automatically deleted.

8. Children's Privacy

ProgressCam is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect new features or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated through the App. The "Effective" date at the top indicates the latest revision. Continued use of ProgressCam after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
